TOD'S presents Design Visionaries at Milan Design Week
'no_code shelter: stories of contemporary life' is project that explores the changes happening in today’s society, highlighting the synergy between technology and craftsmanship a spectacular exhibition held at Spazio Cavallerizze in Milan’s Leonardo da Vinci national science and technology museum.
The exhibition comprised of various types of shelters designed by Andrea Caputo inspired by tents, igloos, yurts, and other similar forms of ancient architecture taking visitors back to different origins through several geographical regions.
Within each, they showcased different personal videos on the changes in contemporary life from eight participants: Japanese Art Director and racing driver Mai Ikuzawa, Amsterdam based Italian design duo Formafantasma, American Car Designer Chris Bangle, Italian Illustrator Olimpia Zagnoli, Norwegian Entrepreneur Petter Neby, Italian Astronaut Maurizio Cheli, Design Maestro Marcello Gandini and Tod's Creative Director Yong Bae Seok.
